Position : Engineer Electrical Design – Wiring Harness

Job Description

Required Skills:

  • Electrical Engineering Graduate or equivalent education at least 5-8 years
  • Good knowledge in Schematic design for Lithium Ion battery
  • Good knowledge in Schematic design for Lithium Ion battery system
  • Good knowledge in 3D Wiring harness routing design using UG-NX or CATIA
  • Experience in circuit module design, layout and verification, including system power paths and FMEA interfaces with the battery
  • Understanding of industry standard requirements for Li-ion batteries, with regards to compliance and certification
  • Passion for Job and positive mindset
  • Good in presentation and communication skills
  • Good understanding of electric and electronic components like contractors, relays and connector
  • Experience and overview of automotive standards like AIS 048 & 156, LV214 , ISO 11452 Road Vehicle standard , ISO 6722
  • Strong documentation and writing skills
  • Great knowledge and implementation of DFM
  • Highly creative and intelligent use of current production methods in designs

Job Description

  • Participate in design reviews as required – from concept phase through to release – contribute in identifying risks and outlining potential methods of implementation
  • Study of requirement specification and should be able to interpret the requirement in to Electrical Requirement
  • Identify the design risk, should be able to mitigate
  • Execute schematic design for high voltage Lithium Ion battery solutions
  • Prepare wiring harness design and routing for Lithium Ion Battery
  • Prepare 3D, 2D manufacturing drawing as per Prepare 3D, 2D manufacturing design as per customer standard/requirement for harness
  • Coordinate and support to manufacturing and assembly Line requirements at factory.
  • Implement and Coordinate the execution of BPS PGL.
  • Coordinate and ensure Line release with Engineering, Testing & Validation teams and manufacturing team
  • Plan and implement fabrication and assembly of prototype components as determined by design and process complexity
  • Validate the accuracy of manufacturing documentation and ensure quality of information for Line release to the manufacturing team.
  • Ability to read and understand the system diagram
  • Electrical engineers must solve complex problems while troubleshooting failed products

Qualifications

B.E / BTech Electrical

Additional Information

Electrical Engineering Graduate or equivalent education at least 5-8 years of experience in CAD / Drawing using Solid works/ CATIA
