Position : Software Developer (Model Based) for Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Control


– Requirement analysis and optimisation of the design

– Development and Implementation of Functions based on


– Ability to understand functions and its implication on system

– Develop Simulink models from requirements and auto code generation

– Verification of Functions using static checks

– Analyze test reports and track issues and defects management in integrated


– Responsible for the development and maintenance of the test environment,

including changes in the testing tool chain set up

– Develop scripts to automate testing on the MiL/SiL platform

– Prepare test report documentation.

– Validation of Functions by unit testing SiL, HiL and vehicle


– Works as a fully contributing team member under broad guidance

– Responsible for development and implementation of project deliverables on time and on quality

– Troubleshooting issues quickly and supporting the team to identify the root cause

– Active contribution to Innovation (Product/Process/Business/Paper/Publication)

– Bring in ideas for process/efficiency improvements

Technical Skills

– Experience in

a) Implementation & validation of functions in Model based environment

b) Autocode Generation

c) Scaling and resolving scaling issues (Floating / Fixed point conversions)

d) Static and dynamic testing

e) Unit Testing at module/functional level

f) MiL/SiL validation of functions

i) Working in agile software development life cycles (SDLC)

Knowledge on

a) Protocols : CAN and Vehicle Diagnostic

b) Systems : Conventional, Electric & Hybrid Vehicle

c) Topics : Control

Preferred Language Skill

German language skills  : Level A1


– Modelling : Matlab,Simulink and Stateflow or equivalent

– Autocode Generation : TargetLink or equivalent

– Configuration Management : SVN or equivalent

– Measurement Calibration Diagnostic (MCD): CANOE and INCA

– Testing Tools :  Tessy, Polyspace, MXAM, Silver, BTC Embedded Tester
