We are looking for freelance editors to cut those videos. You will be given a script, reference material, and access to our footage and technical illustration library. What we need from you is the edit: pacing that holds a general audience through a technical idea, motion graphics that explain rather than decorate, and the discipline to keep a ten-minute concept at six minutes.
This is explicitly open to editors based in Nigeria, Bangladesh and Indonesia. We work across these markets and want the channel edited by people who understand the audiences in them, not only an Indian one. Work is per video, briefed in advance, with a defined fee agreed before you start.
You do not need an EV background. You do need to be genuinely interested in explaining things, because that is the whole job — a beautifully cut video that leaves the viewer no clearer is a failed one.
The programme runs as two tracks. Track A is a two-month foundation covering C programming fundamentals and embedded peripherals — GPIO, ADC/DAC, timers, PWM and RTC. Track B is a six-month professional track covering advanced embedded work, including internal and external interfaces and development tooling such as Keil, Atmel Studio and Arduino, followed by IoT: architecture, Raspberry Pi and cloud integration.
What makes this role different from a standard trainer post is the hardware. Both tracks are integrated with DIYguru's in-house EV Embedded and EVSE testing kits, so alongside the standard curriculum you will design and run practical experiments on our own equipment. Learners should leave having worked on real EV and charging hardware, not only development boards.
The role also includes learner support and counselling. You will be the technical voice prospective learners speak to, and helping them understand whether the programme fits is part of the job — it materially affects conversion, and it is better done by someone who actually teaches the material.
You will diagnose faults on motor controllers and battery management systems, trace them to board level, and carry out the repair — reading schematics, probing with a scope, reworking SMD components. CAN diagnostics is central to the job: most of what arrives will need to be understood through the bus before a single screw comes out.
There is a design element too. Where a repair is not viable or a part is unobtainable, you will design replacement boards and adapter hardware, so PCB design capability matters as much as repair skill.
This is a hands-on bench role at our Delhi facility, working alongside the service advisers and with full access to DIYguru's technical training.
The objective is to enable participants to independently contribute to motor control algorithm development, hardware optimisation, system integration and complete motor drive development — combining theoretical instruction with hands-on labs, real hardware and real-world debugging.
You will represent DIYguru as the lead technical trainer for this engagement and work closely with our L&D team on curriculum finalisation, lab setup, delivery and assessment.
The programme covers thirteen modules: motor fundamentals (PMSM theory, hub motor construction, electrical vs mechanical angle, torque production, dq model); power electronics (three-phase inverter, MOSFETs, gate drivers, current sensing, thermal concepts); motor control theory (Clarke/Park transforms, dq control, flux and torque); PWM and SVPWM; current sensing and ADC (1/2/3-shunt sensing, ADC synchronisation, offset calibration); FOC library development (math library, PI controllers, anti-windup, current loops, SVPWM integration); rotor position feedback (Hall sensors, encoder interface, electrical angle generation, sensorless control); speed and torque control (cascaded loops, PI tuning, bandwidth); motor parameter identification (resistance, inductance, back-EMF, inertia, friction); system features (state machine, startup alignment, limiting, fault manager); protections (overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, overtemperature, stall, overspeed, EMI/EMC); debugging and measurements (oscilloscope usage, gate signals, current measurement, control verification); and a capstone project building a complete PMSM/hub motor controller with FOC, speed control and validated protection.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who understands the EV talent landscape — from battery and powertrain engineering to manufacturing and leadership — and can build the pipelines that power India's transition to electric mobility.
You will own end-to-end recruitment, partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders, and bring a consultative, data-driven approach to attracting and closing top technical and leadership talent.
The role sits within DIYguru's talent and placement ecosystem, including emobility.careers, which connects industry-ready EV talent with employers across the sector. Full-time or part-time arrangements are both possible for the right person.
You will sell DIYguru programmes into engineering colleges, OEM training centres and supplier academies. Contracts run from a single certification cohort to a multi-year centre-of-excellence build, with several stakeholders in every deal — a department head who wants the outcome, a placement cell that wants the numbers, and a finance office that wants the invoice to make sense.
You need to be credible with all three, and technically literate enough to hold a real conversation about what we teach. This is consultative selling with long cycles, not volume calling.
You will generate and qualify leads across colleges, training institutes and companies, run first conversations, and hand qualified opportunities to the senior team. You will also own follow-up — the unglamorous discipline that actually decides whether a pipeline converts.
We will train you on the product properly. You cannot sell EV training credibly without understanding what a BMS is, so your first weeks include the same foundation programme our learners take.
You will generate and qualify leads across engineering colleges, technical institutes and the dense automotive supplier base around Pune, Chakan and Chinchwad. You will run first conversations and hand qualified opportunities up.
It suits someone who wants responsibility early and is comfortable that a young market means fewer warm introductions and more cold ones.
You will teach EV fundamentals, battery and BMS, motor and controller systems, and high-voltage safety — mostly hands-on, on real hardware. Cohorts range from second-year diploma students to practising service technicians, so you will need to pitch the same material at very different levels.
You will also own lab readiness at the delivery sites: equipment, consumables, safety procedure and the incident log. We are strict about high-voltage safety and expect you to be stricter.
You will receive vehicles, understand the complaint, translate it into a job card the technicians can act on, explain the work and the cost to the customer in plain language, and manage the job through to handover. EV owners are often anxious about service — the technology is new, the vehicle is expensive, and misinformation is everywhere. Being straight with people matters more here than upselling.
You will work closely with the technical team and have full access to DIYguru's EV training to build the depth this needs.
You will handle enquiries across phone, email, WhatsApp and chat — questions about programmes, admissions, fees, schedules, certificates and placements — resolve what you can, and route what you cannot. You will also do proactive follow-up with enrolled learners who have gone quiet, which is one of the highest-impact things anyone does here.
The bar is being genuinely helpful rather than fast at closing tickets. If a programme is not right for someone, we would rather you said so.
You will edit recorded lectures and lab sessions into publishable modules, cut short-form versions for social and campaign use from the same footage, and work with curriculum leads to make dense technical material watchable. The people you work with know the engineering but not the software, so part of the job is translating a whiteboard sketch into something that reads on screen.
This is fully remote within India. Footage comes to you from the Delhi studio and from partner sites; you will need reliable bandwidth and a machine that can handle multicam 4K.
There is brand and campaign work — the assets that carry enrolment campaigns across eight markets. There is in-course technical illustration, which is the harder and more interesting half: explaining how a pack balances cells or how an inverter switches is a diagramming problem before it is a styling one. And there is the template library that lets non-designers produce acceptable material without coming to us for everything.
Fully remote within India, working with the design lead and directly with curriculum and marketing.
You will deliver those modules to cohorts of engineering students and working professionals. Our format is project-led — learners write code in every session and leave with something that runs, so you need to be comfortable debugging live in front of a room rather than presenting finished slides.
You will also help shape the curriculum in your area, working with the content team on exercises, assessments and the worked examples that go into the courseware.
