Role Summary/Purpose
As a EE Design Engineer, candidate should own the allocated project working with ECAD Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Software Engineers, and Project Leaders to ensure designs are on schedule with high quality and reliability.
Essential Responsibilities
Design Engineer will be responsible for – Draft schematics, Design calculations, Design documentation, BOM creation, Component qualification and costing, FMEA, de-rating analysis and documentation, Design capabilities on analog, digital including microcontroller and power section, Inventory management, Test jig and development setup support, Creating verification and validation documents, Board level testing and troubleshooting, Board/System bring up and testing, Board validation and verification, Electrical drawing support including cables, system and integration, Support to Safety/EMC and RGT testing
Qualifications / Requirements
BE or BTech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree having working experience on Digital, Analog and microcontroller.
Around 5 years of relevant hands on experience Design capabilities on analog, digital including microcontroller and power section.
Circuit design (schematics) and simulation tool experience.
Experience in board level testing/troubleshooting with soldering skills.
Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills.
knowledge on PCB designing & experience in EMI, EMC and other safety standards testing.

Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type position.
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
Support compliance closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs Program Deliverables.
Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible.
