Purpose of Job:

Incharge of Technical Publications for Projects and Subsystems across Wabtec Sites
Hierarchy:

Structurally reporting to RAMS and TechPub Manager in Wabtec India- Bangalore

Eligibility Criteria:

Education qualification: Engineering – Mechanical Engineering
Years of Experience: 5 to 7 years
Roles & Responsibilities:

Diploma / Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with a good academic record
Good understanding of system / component overhaul and maintenance techniques. Understanding of product disassembly / assembly techniques.
Good technical writing skills in English, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, Technical Specifications, other engineering data related to components and systems maintenance.
Must be able to transform the engineering content into an effective maintenance instruction.
Experience in Authoring and Illustration tools like Adobe illustrator, ISO Draw, Tech Illustrator, Adobe Frame maker and Adobe Professional
Familiar with CAD Tools (CATIA, CREO, SolidWorks etc ) and no design skills are required, but, able to use these tools in order to understand the customer supplied inputs
Good knowledge on ATA/S1000D standards related to illustrations
Good oral and writing skills, Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Able to provide quick estimates on different types of Technical Publications actiivties
Highly motivated, self-confident individual; priority and schedule sensitive
Good oral / written communication skill, English proficiency
