Job Description

What you’ll do:

Develop business cases for new concepts opportunity size, financial impact, market share, cost of sales, and profitability expectations
Drive the market analysis, product strategy, and definition, competitive analysis, partner interaction, and customer management associated with such products
Specify requirements for current and future products by conducting research supported by ongoing, intimate knowledge of existing customers, partners, and competitors
Work closely with Engineering regularly, driving decisions on feature/cost trade-off, ROI, and impact on customer experience
Measure and analyze existing products for opportunities to innovate and improve features, positioning, price, etc.
Lead beta and customer evaluation programs
Develop GTM (go-to-market) plans aimed at enabling rapid market adoption of DDI value-added services and work with all relevant teams to ensure execution of the plan
Develop and communicate positioning of specific products and solutions to establish, enhance, or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena
Collaborate with Product and Technical Marketing functions on marketing deliverables, including customer NDA presentations, new technology overviews, product positioning statements, sales training materials, feature and function benefit summaries, competitive analysis, FAQs, white papers, etc.
Work with Business Development to develop strong relationships with partners in the network asset discovery field

What you’ll bring:

3 to 5 years of experience in the field of data center networking, with a mix of experience in both established companies and start-up/challenger environments
8-9 years of overall experience in a network services field
Familiarity with the network discovery and configuration
Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management
Familiarity with Microsoft DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory services
Familiarity with program management responsibilities
Product management and/or product marketing experience is a plus
IPv6 experience a plus
Ability to capture and articulate customer problems and translate those into product strategy and requirements
Ability to lead internal cross-functional teams to successfully deliver features
Demonstrated success in managing relationships with partners, customers, and sales teams, particularly in challenging situations

What success looks like:

After six months, you will…

Own NIOS overlay management of Microsoft DNS/DHCP features, roadmap, and documentation
Own NIOS network discovery and automation features, roadmap, and documentation
Influence the roadmap for NIOS DNS traffic controller

After About a Year, You Will…

Define and influence similar integrations with BloxOne DDI, the Infoblox SaaS managed Enterprise DDI solution
Lead NIOS through Idea-to-Offer gates to gain cross-functional commitments
