Senior Engineer, R&D

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

Contribute to the sustenance of the software by means of handling queries, RCA for field issues, defect analysis, debug & fix in areas related to GUI
Work with development engineering, test, and support engineers to develop the solutions for customer issues
Support the manager/PLM/release lead with design estimates & schedules for new enhancements
Provide technical guidance and own troubleshooting tasks related to system-level issues.
RELATED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s in related curriculum such as Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Information Science etc:
BSEE/BSCS along with 4 or more years or MSEE/PhD along with 2 or more years of related experience.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Include demonstrated competencies and physical, mental, & interpersonal skills.
Experience with Linux, both embedded and PC-based
Experience in Web development such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery, Ajax ,CGI etc
Experience in working in an Agile development environment.
Experience using embedded SW development tools
Experience porting applications between different platforms, operating systems, cross-platform builds.
Experienced the in the use of effective SW design processes.
Familiar with security-related aspects of SW design.
Experience using integrating wireless modems into systems for remote access.
Knowledge of mobile radio communication systems preferred.
