Job Description

Your responsibilities
Design and build hardware of embedded systems with Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/Cellular connectivity for use in consumer electronics and medical devices.
Take responsibility for the entire design cycle, from specification to design, prototype, verification and manufacturing.
Collaborate with mechanical, PCB layout, and firmware/software engineering teams to successfully design, verify and manufacture hardware.
Maintain continuous integration test hardware platforms for local software/firmware engineering teams.
Able to estimate own work, delivering input for the planning process and defining and maintaining the own and team’s backlog
Drawing up a personal schedule and reporting on progress in a structured way
Ensuring that there is proper documentation for the developed software.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or similar.
5+ years of proven ability in embedded system hardware design.
3+ years of experience in Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/Cellular or other wireless connectivity technologies.
Strong understanding in main-stream micro-controllers and how to use them in hardware design.
Knowledge and experience in analogic and digital electronics design.
Knowledge and experience in consumer/medical product certification process (FCC/CE/FDA etc).
Proficiency with EDA tools and basic EE tools (Oscilloscopes, Network analyzers, Signal Generators etc.).
Knowledge in RF design, testing and troubleshooting is preferred.
Knowledge in reliability, and safety requirements is preferred.
Knowledge in embedded software is preferred.
