Your Role We are looking for a Network Specialist to join a team-oriented staff, sharing the responsibility of providing PTC with Network Administration and supporting our customers and internal teams with network expertise.The primary responsibilities of the Network Specialist are to manage PTC’s network infrastructure in multiple public and private cloud environments, to support the implementation of customer designs and to help automate common maintenance network tasks.Your Impact The Network Specialist will support our US-based networking team to support the VPN infrastructure, handle the networking in the public and private cloud, support implementing customer designs, and assist the team in their day-to-day activities.This job is the perfect opportunity for candidates who want to get exposure to multiple cloud environments and have the desire to extend their networking skills.Your Team You will be part of the highly motivated PTC Cloud Services Infrastructure Team (based in Gurgaon India) and will be working very closely with the US-based networking team.Your Day-to-Day Work in 24×7 environment – Weekend execution might be required and will be scheduled with rotational shiftsThis role might involve some interaction with customers during Service Request executionProvisioning of new customer environments aligned with customer needsExecute Customer Service Requests on the Cloud environments (restarts, installations, administration activities)Execute Proactive maintenance activities of Cloud environments (including application hardening, patch deployments, and performance tuning)Collaborate with other Cloud teams, including Engineering, Applications Support and NOCProactively identify & propose improvements area in the process, tools & organization to better achieve team objectives (Continuous Improvement)Monitor the Service Request and ensures that all Service Requests are responded to as per the defined SLA and SLTHelp define processes and automate re-occuring or highly manual tasksMust-Have Skills (3-5 bullet points) Ability to work late or evening shift as a main point of contact is the US networking team (US East Coast)Good troubleshooting skills and ability to see patternsSense of responsibilityExcellent communication skills
