Key advocate and facilitator of effective decision-making both within the VP Engineering’s domain and, where relevant, across the organisation.
You will proactively document/manage requirements for organisational change, decisions taken for resolution, and program execution .
Effectively communicate complex organisational issues through formulation and delivery of presentations, financial models, reports, etc.
Ensure meetings are relevant, well structured, and that preparation is both complete and correct
Assist in strengthening and setting the tone of company culture in all that you do .
Alignment and communication:
Facilitating creation of OKRs and ensuring they are tracked effectively.
Working with HR on employee engagement and growth plans
Coordinating communication of roadmaps to stakeholders
Event management and design including offsites, all-hands and trainings
Financial reporting and cost management
Procurement and negotiations with vendors
Vendor evaluation and industry analysis
Evaluating acquisition targets and partners
Experience in a technology organisation in a managerial role (product, project or engineering management)
Demonstrated experience managing projects at the portfolio level (multiple teams and tracks of work)
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
High EQ as important as IQ
Experience effectively interacting with senior stakeholders on cross-functional projects
Decisive: you know how to get to the root of an issue and steer to a decision
