Executing generator service modernization projects, supporting negotiations, supporting field service activities, resolving product issues, and developing products/solutions relevant for generator services and maintenance.
Executing generator modernization design activities such as Stator Rewinding, Rotor Rewinding, partial winding repairs and replacement, etc.
Operational support for issues related to generator stator, rotor, exciters/collectors, and electrical/mechanical interface.
Interact with Customers for complex technical issues during project execution or site issues.
Analyze and interpret the information from field (testing data and/or operational data); Make recommendations regarding suitable repairs, modifications, modernizations, and operation of generators/exciters.
Conducting the Design Reviews to ensure the achievement of technical requirements of engineering projects.
Communicate technically complex and commercially sensitive information to various internal and external organizations / personnel, and work closely with Design Engineering / Field Service team.

B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience on turbogenerators
Experience on CAD tool NX is necessary to support generator design activities, Experience on Creo (ProE) will be added advantage.
May require travelling to the Customer Sites on short notice
