Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

This role ensures the alignment of Sourcing strategy with Business Strategy, ensuring Early supplier involvement nominations in line with platform requirements to meet product cost, quality & delivery timelines. This role also demands to manage & mitigate various business risks associated with entire value chain.
Regular Interaction with Product Development/Product planning to understand the project requirements in terms technologies/Quality requirements.
Regular Interaction with Supply chain team of Last mile mobility division to understand the critical bottleneck to achieve the desired production numbers and prepare long term strategy to debottleneck these issues along with Sourcing.
Preparation of de risking budgets along with concerned component development team and get it approved in the forum.
Constant interactions with Sourcing team to align the commodity wise sourcing strategies to take care of project needs in terms
Technology introduction Facilitation by way of organizing tech shows from suppliers/ engaging with technology suppliers as per need stated by PD technology team to keep the new technology ready before integrating it with any of the platform.
Ensuring capacity creation as per busines plan.
Ensuring Integration of SCM & Quality inputs in Sourcing Strategy
Supplier risk management and mitigation for seamless supply of parts and components
Compliance of led down procedure, processes and audits associated with sourcing
Timely resolution of supply or product related concerns by customer centric approach
Liaison between internal and external stake holders for quick and efficient sourcing process
Developing IT enabled Capacity tool with the support from IT and Analytics team.
Experience
Domain experience in strategic sourcing, Supply chain
Product pricing and costing
Managing external & internal stake holders’ expectations
Added advantage if experience in Electric vehicle development/ sourcing/ Project management
