Job Description

Candidate Profile :
Qualification : Min B E – Mechanical / Electro Mechanical/ Electronics / Industrial Engineering.
Experience of 4- 5 years in handling supplier quality
Proven experience in manufacturing sector – experience in sheet metal fabrication / injection moulding process/ plastics etc
Excellent quality assurance skills.
In-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of manufacturing and engineering.
Good working knowledge of quality control standards and regulatory compliance for medical devices.
Should have implemented QC Tools across the supply chain system
Experience with manufacturing and production processes and engineering principles.
Good communication and liaison skills in English & Tamil
Desirable:
Preference will be given to candidates having Masters in Engineering qualification.
Preference will be given to those candidates who have prior experience in Medical Device manufacturing field.
Hands on experience in processes conforming to ISO 13485 is critical and essential.
Additional Certifications in the relevant fields.

Job Profile:
In charge of all supplier quality control (includes all our factories)
Should ensure the incoming raw material and products are verified, validated and tested as per the drawings, circuit diagrams etc that is provided by Design team.
Visit to suppliers to audit their facility and competency. As and when required supplier place quality inspection to be conducted
Establish dash board of Supplier Quality
Plan to improve Supplier Quality to targeted level
In case of shortages, need to develop alternative suppliers
First Part approval – PPAP
Work on supplier certification
Over a period of time, supplier quality to be maintained
Knowledge of Problem solving tools/ 7QC Tools, Kaizen, CAPA
