Responsible forElectrica & Propriety Commodities
Drawing, SOR & Specification study along with supplier for giving timely
inputs to minimize design changes
Floating RFQ’s for getting techno-commercial proposals from Suppliers
Support SSU by providing information /data for commercial discussion and
negotiation with suppliers
Ensure cost viability of designs by giving inputs to Product Development
regarding Raw Material availability/cost and process cost
Meet all material requirement time targets by continuous interaction with
supplier and internal agencies
APQP and tracking at all the stages of product development
Prepare and raise PO to suppliers
Support suppliers for the development of parts and ensure QCD targets
PPAP submission to QA for closure and handing over for regular supplies
Proactively identifying & resolving problems and maintaining quality
standards
Knowledge on Diesel Genset Related parts like exhaust manifold, Filter, Engine Fan etc.
Most of the parts are Proprietary identify the Spare parts, So commercial
settlement of the same. Review and take decision on warranty parts
Ensure development of KAIZEN Culture through MGB and MYB Initiative
Facilitation & ensuring deployment of the new and the revised standards by
interfacing with functions
Good knowledge of quality tools and processes
Ensure seamless flow of information on quality concerns to seniors
Conducting various internal trainings on quality improvement tools and
techniques
Verifying compliance as per predetermined and approved audit schedule.
