Job Description

Key responsibilities:

This position will be a Team Leader, Winch & HDC Electrical Order engineering responsible for Electrical order engineering for industrial crane, ETO. You’ll be assigned a team of electrical engineers.

Leadership and management of the team to provide delivery projects to lead engineers
Oversee and delegate the preparation of crane electrics (single line diagrams, schematics, panel layouts, bill of materials, cable list) by using specifications / information provided by lead engineer
Verifying/Checking electrical drawings, bill of materials, cable list, technical specifications, and relevant documents before release for production ensuring quality deliverables
Participate in resolving manufacturing problems (factory or field) by working and communicating with all levels and departments
Performance improvement and skills development of team members; create an environment where people are challenged, invited to learn, and stay motivated
Punctuality of engineering delivery
Efficiently utilizing design resources
Prioritizing, sequencing, and scheduling project tasks
Active communication with internal customers (Electrical Leading Engineers, Project Managers and Factory) across the globe
Preparing crane electrics (single line diagrams, schematics, panel layouts, bill of materials, cable list) for complex projects

What we expect from you

Bachelor’s or Higher technical degree in Electrical engineering/technology with 7 to 10 years of industrial experience
Good presentation and communication skills to serve internal and external customers
Passion and enthusiasm to recruit, coach and develop new design resource
Proficient in reading electrical schematics drawings. This position requires good understanding of protective devices, electrical switchgears, frequency drives and motor controls
Experience in Electrical design in crane industry, material handling industries will be an advantage
Knowhow of EN 60204-32 will have an added advantage
Familiar with related industrial crane standards and regulations will have an added advantage
Proficiency with electric design software (E3 schematic, EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical or similar), Team Center PLM, Microsoft office tools
Good Understanding of mechanical drawing
Awareness about ISO 14001, 45001 requirements
