Manufacturing & Distribution Support Engineer

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

To ensure a defect free timey supply to all the customers.
Working knowledge of machine installation, commissioning.
To increase productivity & reduce down time due to check setup, breakdown, and tool changes.
To reduce the process rejection, line rejection & warranty at customer end as per the laid-out targets.
To work for reduction of rejection of in process below targets using FM TiPS
Information sharing about new developments & new improvements in your area.
Implementing production, Quality, systems in your area.
Maintaining 5S, Kanban, Kaizens in your area.
To Train new people for set-up changes & running the machine.
To have a well implemented system for Pre-dispatch inspection, layout inspections.
To maintain quality systems in line with TS 16949, ISO 14001, & other customer laid down & FM systems.
Knowledge of core tools like MSA, PPAP,APQP, FME, SPC
Required Skills

Technical Knowledge, Knowledge of drawings, Measuring instruments & calibration
Understanding of Product /Process system
Problem Solving technique & Analytical skills
QC Tools/Core Tools
Knowledge of Engg. Drawing
Working knowledge of SAP
