Professional Qualifications: Diploma (Mech.) / ITI-Draughtsman Mechanical with AutoCAD

Essential: Expertise in AutoCAD software & knowledge of 3D software.

Professional Experience description: (state key experiences required): Key experience required in preparation of conceptual layout drawings, spare parts drawings, drawing checking & feasibility study of new proposal / schemes.

Critical Job competencies / Mandatory Skills:
Must have knowledge of latest version of AutoCAD Software.
Must have knowledge of layout / proposal for drawing & design.
Must have knowledge of spare part sketch work.
Good communication skill.

JOB PROFILE – (Please select the most essential points & supporting actions of the role).
To achieve Unit targets through preparation of conceptual layout drawings, layout feasibility study, co-ordination with consultants, supplier, user departments regarding modification jobs, checking of drawings, inspection of materials, maintaining records. Up-keeping of Drawing office equipment and Technical library’s record.

KRA 1: Preparation of proposals, layouts & spare parts drawings. Maintain & updating of record of drawings, documents & manuals.
KRA 2: Co-ordination with departments & suppliers regarding modification jobs, checking / Inspection & maintaining records. Feasibility study and detail engineering of newly / existing installed equipment.

KRA 3: To update / As built drawings regularly as per modification done at site.

KRA 4: Carryout timely inspection of all jobs required as per our safety standards and statutory guidelines and ensures their timely compliance. Ensure implementation of all safety provisions for workmen & self.

KRA 5: To practice and maintain SAP, ISO Systems and WCM culture.

KRA 6: To assist department heads in preparation of Block / proposal, design & engineering activities of Capex & improvement schemes for productivity improvement & capacity up-gradation of plant

Consult with supplier / consultants for detailed layout, and equipment specification etc. regarding drawings to meet engineering requirements for job execution.
