Engineer – Thermal Dynamics

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Engineer with expertise in Thermal Dynamics to lead our the development of innovative thermal management solutions for EV Batteries. The Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, analyze, and optimize thermal systems to meet performance, cost, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of thermal management solutions for various applications, including but not limited to electric vehicles, data centers, and aerospace systems.
Conduct thermal simulations using industry-standard software tools to optimize system design and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to develop innovative thermal systems that meet performance, cost, and safety requirements.
Analyze thermal performance data and identify opportunities for optimization.
Develop test plans and lead thermal testing activities to validate design concepts and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Author technical reports and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in thermal management technology and industry trends.
Manage thermal development projects from concept to commercialization, including project planning, resource allocation, and progress reporting.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers in the team.
Qualifications:

PhD or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with a focus on thermal dynamics.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in thermal management design and development.
Strong understanding of thermal simulation tools and software such as ANSYS, CFD, or equivalent.
Experience with a wide range of thermal management technologies such as liquid cooling, air cooling, and phase-change materials.
Experience with project management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
