Design & Development of the Architecture of Battery packs for EV, Solar, and ESS applications.
To lead battery packs and module projects including mechanical, Electrical, thermal, and electronics design using design tools and prototyping.
Define pack and cell requirements, and find the best options for product volume, weight, and run-time requirements
Work with the Customer’s requirements to meet technical and certification conditions.
Work with the team to integrate mechanical and electronic hardware components into battery packs as per requirement like the selection of cells, BMS, bus bars, wire harnesses, temperature, and voltage sensors, communication connections, etc.
Develop test and validation plans for manufacturing and characterizing battery packs.
Work with safety, reliability, operations, and other cross-functional partners to integrate the battery into the final system.
Interface with Suppliers during the pack architecture development and feasibility analysis.
Support the final assembly site to ensure proper integration of the battery into the final system, Rigorous failure analysis, root cause analysis, corrective action, and communication to the crossfunctional teams on issues
BOM Management of the packs.
Support to the manufacturing team.
Experience in Battery pack design and development.
Experience in Mechanical design software (Solidworks, AUTOCAD).
Should know about the Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DEA), Simulation process, and Design tolerance.
Hands-on experience in battery pack assembly and interconnections.
Should know about ESS, EV, and Solar application requirements.
Degree- Graduation (BE, B-tech, ME, M-tech, etc.)
Experience- 2 to 5 years
