About the role

Climate Group is accelerating the next shift towards Indias clean energy transition by building ambitious coalitions and networks for faster action. One such transition is the shift to electric mobility with a huge potential of curtailing emissions. A departure from fossilized-internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles will help India to address present-day challenges of making cities cleaner and congestion-free, lower dependence on fuel imports and create jobs.

Our programs elevate electric mobility in India by leveraging the opportunity that lies with Indian business to lead on corporate EV adoption. It is supporting the growth and large-scale uptake of electric vehicles. The role will work with businesses to foster higher ambition through EV100 and EV100+ and drive action by addressing mobility challenges, implementing scalable business models, publicizing best practices, and informing policy.

Over 125 companies crossing over 90 markets have joined EV100 and EV100+ and they are committed to shun 5 million plus ICE vehicles and move to EVs by 2030. Thirteen India-headquartered companies are part of our initiatives as well.
