Responsibilities

Experience in Closures and mechanisms (Door, Tailgate, and Hood) Design Development with around 4 to 10 years of experience
Must have hands-on experience in the automobile domain having worked on BIW closure (Door, Tailgate Hood) systems and their subsystem designs
Basic understanding of Design/ Design changes on Door, Tailgate and Hood parts (Inner/Outer panel, Reinforcement, Hinges, etc.) for the Automotive Sector
At least one complete project execution of Door, Tailgate Hood parts experience for passenger car project added advantage
Candidate should be experienced in CATIA/ Solidworks
Must have designed and developed door locks, latches, hinges, window regulators, wiper systems, check arms, door handles, and mirrors.
Working knowledge of APQP, DFMEA, DVP, and homologation for mentioned parts/systems

Skills Required

High teamwork capabilities. Able to share new ideas and provide technical solutions.
Confident, with the ability to convince through technical arguments.
4 to 10 years of experience in component development and Sourcing in the Automotive and manufacturing sectors. EV industry experience will be added advantage
Design development experience is a must
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (able to explain technical information and requirements).
Prior work experience in electric mobility / electric vehicle development will add weightage
Understanding of component development in the automotive sector would be an added advantage.
