Qualification : : B.E/ B Tech in Electrical/Electronics

Experience: 3 to 10 years

Technical/ Functional:

Design Electrical system and its electrical/ electronic systems Layout and packaging of parts in vehicle DMU considering all aspects of functionality and manufacturability/ serviceability. Define electrical system diagram for a given project considering all regulatory/Homologation requirements. Getting requisite inputs to horizontal teams for design of electrical parts as per product brief, Interaction with concerned plant and handle manufacturing issues, interact with service teams for field related issues and co-ordinate within R&D, for issue analysis and it’s resolution and implementation. Co-ordinate in testing activities, preparation for senior level meetings.

Proficient in Electrical system Knowledge of vehicle powertrain and the interfaces arising out of electrification. Knowledge about automotive industry standards and regulations, applicable globally. Knowledge of vehicle harness design, Good understanding of all applicable standards/ regulations and their application Experience in design and development of electrical components for automotive application -, Starter motor ,Magneto , Alternators , wiper motors & Wiping systems ,-Radiator fan ,switches , solenoids , sender units , ECU based systems , Fuel injection system ,Fuel pump module , Instrument cluster, wiring harness for 2 / 3 / 4 Wheeler projects Preparation master part list Design review and interface design checks Design optimization for cost control of component Proto type development Plan for testing of components as per project schedule Bench marking , warranty analysis , VA/ VE Comply with Homologation requirements of components DFMEA , PFMEA

Desirable: – Soft Skill set:-

Auto CAD: 2-D drawing 3-D – Uni-Graphics modelling UG-NX7.5-Basic level PLM –Team center Engineering Knowledge of simulation software. Behavioral:- Effective communication with team, peers and seniors Candidate should be able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with deliveries on schedule. Good Interdepartmental co-ordination required. Should understand situations in depth, analyze and resolve issues. Should have leadership qualities and should be able to handle and guide the team independently.
