Position : Business Operations Manager
Responsibilities
- You will work to continuously improve our business operations practices and processes
- You will be responsible for overseeing and influencing negotiations and from time to time, lead complex negotiations
- You will program manage a variety of projects to completion
- You will be the primary user of our Operations Command Center, so you will need to expect all the operational tactical system management that comes along with this strategic role
- You can handle multiple work-streams simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines
- You are a motivated self-starter who is highly results driven, takes enormous pride in your work and demonstrates a high degree of enthusiasm for excellence and professionalism
- You will actively teach, mentor and coach fellow colleagues throughout Cisco and develop help and support collateral as needed
- We will advance our business goals with the help of our Cisco Partners by engaging as the focal point to our partner organization support models
- Must be able to communicate and work effectively across varied time zones, diverse cultures, 3rd party relationships, and the varied functions and groups across Cisco
Required Experience
- Education BA Business
- 8+ years of Operations and/or Procurement experience across multiple areas of large corporations and have led complex large-scale negotiations
- You have a good understanding of commercial legal terms and conditions
- Understanding of Business Operations practices such as budgeting, procurement, hiring, onboarding, contracts, and negotiations, SmartBuy/Ariba Procure to Pay and hands on experience in placing PO’s SO’s, ensure contract renewals happen in a timely manner for continuity of business without any interruptions to services.
- Good experience both building and presenting presentations as well as complex spreadsheets used for data analysis and comparative analysis
- Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and development practices
- Expert design, debug, implementation, and problem-solving skills to develop and use structured approaches to solve problems and recommend resolutions, ability to present results in meaningful terms. You wear a customer hat while designing interfaces and you are your own strongest critic, demanding excellence in your work
