Job Description

01. Service performance

Handle GAP Equipment’s critical domestic/international service interventions with full customer Satisfaction and quality
Coordinate with parent Product Company for any product related issues till successful closure of problems
Perform all the intervention to the parent product companies’ standard and guidelines
In order to improve service standard to the international standard

02. Service efficiency

Perform service interventions in an efficient manner (First Time Fix the problem) in strict compliance with operating procedures and manuals.
Ensuring service and maintenance standards for the Gas and process machines are maintained to the highest level
To pass on the business lead generated, to the sales engineer both for aftermarket products and equipment
Support in data collection in mapping units and new opportunities

03. Erection/start-up/Handover Management

Follow company protocol and efficiently solve technical problems during process
Efficient coordination with customer as well to project manager during process
Complete closure of the site and hand over in line with agreed performance
Strategies and act to protect commercial interest with customer
Take Complete owner ship of start-up and hand over

04. Repair Workshop

complete in-house overhaul, repair & reconditioning of GAP Turbo compressors & expanders for GAP Aftermarket business
Plan and schedule the repair shop activities as per the priorities assigned
Carry out low speed balancing operations of shafts & rotors of compressors & expanders
Plan and schedule the repair shop activities as per the priorities assigned
Carry out repair shop activities as per the work instructions / standard operating procedures / BOM’s / Assembly drawings.
Maintain the documentation & checklist as per the requirement & prepare the necessary files in Hard / Soft form.
Conceptualize and implement strict measures in operating procedures to optimize resource/ capacity utilization.
Develop & work with methods for all kind of certifications, work instructions and procedures.
Co-ordinate with other GAP product companies in order to align all repair shop processes and work instructions
Provide regular feedback to operation team about to establish, streamline & optimize the repair process to meet the business requirement of being world class repair center.
To meet organizational goals towards delivery efficiency, quality, and cost
Interpreting technical aspects of the quality assurance plan and inspection & test plan
Must have operating knowledge of Balancing machines, Lathe machines, Glass blasting and Machining machine.
Maintain all in house machines regularly to keep them fit and calibrated for ready to use

Experience requirements

Technical competence and knowledge of Gas and process products in the field of service mechanical/instrumentation and PLC control
Experience on repair shop operations such as balancing machine Operation, Lathe, Milling, Drilling machine & other necessary repair shop machines will be an added advantage
Problem solving ability
Good communication/coordination skill
