Benefits
What we actually offer.
Benefits vary by country and by role type, and the specifics are on each posting. What follows is what holds true across the group — written plainly, without the usual careers-page inflation.
Learning, because it is the business we are in
Every programme, free
Full access to the entire DIYguru catalogue — M.Tech modules, nanodegrees, certifications and short courses — for you, plus one family member. This is the single benefit people use most.
Certification support
ASDC and industry certifications paid for, including exam fees and study time. Most people complete at least one in their first year.
Annual upskilling budget
A per-person budget for external courses, books, tools and subscriptions. You choose what it goes on; you do not need a business case.
Conference travel
We send people to industry conferences and standards meetings, and expect them to come back and teach the rest of us what they learnt.
Health and security
Medical cover
Health insurance for you and your dependants, with the specifics set per market so cover is genuinely usable locally rather than nominally equivalent.
Accident cover for lab and field staff
Anyone working on high-voltage systems or in the field carries additional accident cover on top of standard medical.
Statutory benefits, done properly
Provident fund, gratuity and every statutory entitlement in each jurisdiction we operate in — paid on time, with payslips that make sense.
Mental health support
Confidential counselling sessions, arranged outside the company.
Time and flexibility
Remote and hybrid roles
Engineering, content and marketing roles are largely remote or hybrid. Training, lab and centre roles are onsite by necessity — and we say which on every posting rather than surprising you later.
Parental leave
Paid leave for primary and secondary caregivers, above the statutory minimum in every market, with a phased return.
Flexible hours
Outside scheduled cohort delivery, you own your calendar. Teaching schedules are published well in advance so they can be planned around.
Quarterly team weeks
Remote staff come to Delhi once a quarter, fully covered. Distributed teams need to be in a room sometimes.
Growth and recognition
Published promotion criteria
What each level requires is written down and shared. You should never have to guess what a promotion depends on.
Named authorship
Curriculum, research and published content carry the author's name. Your work builds your reputation, not only ours.
Internal mobility
A meaningful number of people have moved between content, training and product. Internal applicants are considered before external ones.
Performance incentives
Sales and placements roles carry uncapped incentives. Delivery roles carry cohort-outcome bonuses.
A note on what varies
Interns receive a stipend, a certificate and mentorship rather than the full benefits set. Trainer-panel members are paid per session and are not employees. Fellows receive a grant plus research budget. International roles carry market-specific packages — housing and flights in the GCC, for instance. Every posting states which applies, and you can always ask before applying.
