Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Determining detailed functional requirements for Balance of Plant components (Humidifiers / Hydrogen Re-circulating pumps / Valves / Heat exchangers / Water separators / Resonators) for Fuel Cell Systems and evaluate functional integration requirements of the same to application requirements. Developing and Testing control system algorithms for controlling Balance of plant, fuel cell stack components for complete fuel cell system. In addition, carry out detailed model creation and validation of the same. Develop deep understanding of Fuel cell operations and provide guidance to the software team on integration of control systems developed into software. Develop tests, standardized test procedures, and perform product testing, including involvement in hands on lab testing during evaluations of prototype systems Analyse operational and test data to troubleshoot and resolve system problems
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Relevant work experience required: Bachelors with 2-to-5-year experience, Masters with 0 to 3 years in Controls development and validation of Electrical systems and Components preferably in technology like power sources, energy storage systems, hydrogen fuel cells, hybrids, electric vehicles (EV), etc Knowledge of Balance of Plant components (Humidifiers / Hydrogen Re-circulating pumps / Valves / Heat exchangers / Water separators / Resonators) for Fuel Cell Systems design, development, testing and certifications. Working knowledge of HIL/SIL – Powertrain System Testing Engineer in Hardware and Software in loop (SIL) environment. Experience in electrical systems modelling/simulation and plant model development. Working knowledge of Matlab/Simulink for controls development and validation Excellent analytical and communication skills
