Service Adviser — ev.care, Delhi

ev.care is DIYguru's EV ownership and aftermarket venture. The service adviser is the person an owner actually deals with, and the role that decides whether they come back.

You will receive vehicles, understand the complaint, translate it into a job card the technicians can act on, explain the work and the cost to the customer in plain language, and manage the job through to handover. EV owners are often anxious about service — the technology is new, the vehicle is expensive, and misinformation is everywhere. Being straight with people matters more here than upselling.

You will work closely with the technical team and have full access to DIYguru's EV training to build the depth this needs.

What you will do

• Receive vehicles and record customer complaints accurately
• Translate complaints into clear job cards for the technical team
• Explain diagnosis, work required and cost to customers in plain language
• Manage job progress, timelines and customer updates
• Handle the handover and follow up on satisfaction
• Maintain service records and warranty documentation
• Escalate technical issues to the engineering team

What we are looking for

• Two or more years as a service adviser, service coordinator or in automotive customer handling
• Comfortable explaining technical work to non-technical customers
• Patient and straight with people, including when the news is bad
• Strong spoken Hindi and English
• Willing to work onsite in Delhi, including some Saturdays

Nice to have

• EV or hybrid vehicle exposure
• Dealership or OEM service background
• Experience with a DMS or service CRM
