Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Demonstration of verious Concepts on Future Technologies
Readiness for Technolgy driven Future Regulations
Demonstrationa and redainess for ADAS features
Vehicle architeture & design considering market needs, engineering limitation and modularity within platform
Interaction with Various Engineering COEs, Collectig all engineering/Design inputs and prepare overall plan for Technology/Concept projects
Budget estimate & co-ordination for concept demostration and performance evaluation
Interaction with Product Planning / Customers to create and design vehicle level architeture as per customer need (told/ untold) and conceptulising product before detailed design
To achieve modularity / standardization yet addressing diverse requirements
Ensure Serviceability and manufactureability of vehicle at concept stage to avoid later changes in the program / vehicle by simulating the process of assembly / removal of various components to assembly line / service workshop in CAD
Create Vehicle level concept BOM
Ensure awarness of current & future homologation requirements to enable homologation compliance are considered during design stage by collecting the data from homologation group , sorting it out system wise and handling over to respective system engg.
Experience

General Requirements
Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle, Trucks & buses and their application
Strong knowledge of Alternate Fuel technology (CNG, LNG etc) and Electric Vehcile
Understading of Autonomus vehicle and other ADAS features
Strong knowledge of Future technology , trends and competition
Strong knowledge of vehicle performance, customer touch points, OPECOs
Strong knowledge of aggregates & their integration
Ability to set FI targets and road map to achieve the same
Understanding of RWUP, RLTD and linkage with virtual tools
Ability to train and guide team of VA/ VA people
Knowledge of Problem solving techniques & its application
Usage of tools like Why why, is – is not
Global 8D, fish bone, ishikawa process
KT analysis & multi variance techniques
CATIA, DFMEA, QFD,DR, basics of CAE, NVH
Ability to analyze data, spread sheets and level analysis
