Mechanical Design Lead

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

Analyzing the mechanical requirements for the product
Definition of the mechanical architecture
Lead the mechanical design of an automotive electronic product
Management the ME part of the project – planning, timing, risks ,tasks, change management, etc.
Customer and suppliers communication;
Alignment with manufacturing
Visteon process compliance;
conducting DFMEA

Competencies Required and Experience:

Mechanical Engineering Graduate or Post Graduate with 8 to 12 years experience in Mechanical Design.
Positions requires knowledge in Automotive Electronics products, Plastic parts design, Die casting, Decoration technologies and Project management
Master Degree in the field of mechanical engineering;
Project management skills, including Requirements, Change and Risk Management;
Task management and planning;
Root cause analysis and problem solving skills;
Active team leadership and motivation/co-ordination of others;
Experience with demonstrated leadership in a project;
Proven experience of electronics products with displays;
DFMEA knowledge and experience;
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills;
Able to comfortably manage multiple tasks and assignments;
IT awareness with MS Office exposure.
