Pune sits at the centre of India's automotive belt, and it is our most under-covered major market. This role owns it.
You will sell DIYguru programmes into engineering colleges, OEM training centres and supplier academies. Contracts run from a single certification cohort to a multi-year centre-of-excellence build, with several stakeholders in every deal — a department head who wants the outcome, a placement cell that wants the numbers, and a finance office that wants the invoice to make sense.
You need to be credible with all three, and technically literate enough to hold a real conversation about what we teach. This is consultative selling with long cycles, not volume calling.
What you will do
- Own the western India institutional pipeline end to end
- Build relationships with engineering colleges, OEM training heads and supplier academies
- Run consultative discovery and build programme proposals with the delivery team
- Negotiate and close multi-cohort and centre-of-excellence contracts
- Maintain accurate pipeline hygiene in the CRM
- Represent DIYguru at industry events and campus fairs
- Mentor the Pune business development executive
What we are looking for
- Four or more years in B2B or institutional sales — education, training or industrial
- Track record closing contracts with multiple stakeholders and long cycles
- Technically literate; able to discuss EV and engineering content credibly
- Willing to travel across Maharashtra, Gujarat and MP roughly a week a month
- Based in Pune or willing to relocate
Nice to have
- Existing relationships in engineering education or automotive
- Marathi in addition to English and Hindi
- Experience selling into government or PSU training programmes
What you get
- Uncapped incentive on closed contracts
- Travel fully covered
- Full access to every DIYguru programme
- Health cover for you and dependants
