Our goal as Ola Electric, is to enable and maximize the number of electric kms delivered through our ecosystem of products and services. We start with India but our ambitions are global.
E-Rickshaws provide a unique opportunity to build out our charging infrastructure. E-ricks deliver over 50 million kms of electric mobility in India everyday – no other form factor comes close.
That said, we are building an entire ecosystem of our batteries and charging infrastructure in a way that it can serve all sorts of electric vehicles tomorrow including 2Ws, our own 3W and potentially small 4Ws.
You will be working closely with the internal teams and responsible for tool creation, automation and software development to improve the overall product quality
Roles and Responsibilities
Design and develop test libraries and tools with minimal supervision to facilitate rapid test automation development along with wider test coverage
Own the roadmap, design and development of at least one area in the automation framework
Solid experience in REST/SOAP based APIs with JSON/XML validation
Experience in SIL/HIL, Appium, Selenium and Junit testing tool
Strong analytical capability and problem solving skills with attention to details
Experience & Skills
4-8 years experience in tools and automation framework development
Solid understanding of automotive protocols (CAN and UDS)
Strong experience in building user interfaces and CLI based tools
Proficiency in at least two programming languages: Python, Shell, Java, Go, Rust
Have good working knowledge on automation frameworks (Pytest, Robot)
Good understanding of CI/CD Tools, Gitlab, Docker, Jenkins and Cloud technologies
Experience in integrating unit tests, code analyzers, code coverage measurements, security scans and automated tests with our CI/CD pipeline
Perform code reviews and adhere to high standards of code and reviews
Product/Software development in agile framework
Good to Have:
IoT products or Infotainment product development experience would be a plus.
